What is Stepper?
Stepper is an AI-native workflow automation platform that makes it simple to create automated processes for your business. Think of it as a Zapier or Make built from the ground up for AI and with batteries included - and a whole lot more cost effective to run at scale!
What is a step?
A step is a single action in a workflow. For example, updating a CRM, sending an email, or posting a slack message.
How do credits work?
Credits are a monthly allowance you can spend in Stepper on features that incur extra costs — such as AI processing, sending emails or SMS, and using premium APIs.
If you use up all your monthly credits, any workflows that depend on credits will automatically pause.
Using AI features while building a workflow (e.g., asking the AI to explain, or build a workflow) also consumes credits, but this cost is one-time only. Once a workflow is created, it won’t keep using credits unless it includes actions that do (like AI processing, emails, SMS, or premium APIs).
Credits refresh every month, and Pro users can increase their monthly credit limit if needed.

What is the fair use policy?
We want Stepper to be the most cost effective solution for small businesses to automate at scale. To that end, on our Pro plan we have no hard limit on steps. However if you regularly exceed more than 50K steps per month, we'll be in touch to discuss a custom plan suited for your needs.
As per our standard terms and conditions, we also reserve the right to terminate any accounts if we determine they're abusing the fair use policy or otherwise violating our terms of service.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your workflows will continue to run until the end of your billing period, and you can always reactivate your account later if needed.
